Holistic & Caring Osteopathic Healthcare

About your practitioner

I initially trained as a professional violinist during which I have travelled extensively. My most recent trip being an 11 day stint in Bahrain playing in a production of, what else, The Sound of Music!

It was as a musician that I developed a keen interest in postural work through the Alexander technique so I changed tack in 1999 when I decided to re-train as a massage therapist which I did in parallel with my music for a while.

I extended and continued my studies in 2001 at The British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) from where I graduated in 2005 with a BSc in Osteopathic and Naturopathic Medicine. In the same year I started to practice my treatments and self-care at The Willows Clinic in Highams Park.

Since then I've also trained in modern acupuncture (also known as dry needling), ultrasound therapy and orthotic prescriptions which are shoe inserts with arch support.

Since graduating I've gained invaluable varied experience working in Osteopathic practices and in 2009 I opened The Alexander Osteopathic Clinic in Winchmore Hill and I have been building the practice ever since.

With this very wide skills base I believe that I am able to provide truly holistic healthcare from head to toe!
