What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a method of diagnosing and treating many conditions/diseases that affect the human body. Osteopaths believe that all parts of the body, including the internal organs (the viscera), have an effect on each other and that if one part is not working properly it may have wide-ranging implications all over the body. A good example of this is that people suffering with gallbladder problems sometimes present to their physician with right shoulder pain.

Naturopathic osteopaths therefore treat the entire body, including the viscera (visceral Osteopathy), using a wide variety of treatment techniques, to bring its function and structure into balance. When in this state the body possesses powerful self-healing properties that can restore itself to a condition of true wellness, not just an absence of pain or disease.

Naturopathic Osteopathy can be used to treat many conditions.
